Overview

Geotechnics is the branch of engineering that studies how soil and rock behave under the loads of buildings, roads, and industrial plants. It is the link between the ground and the structure: it determines what a foundation can safely carry, how much a structure may settle, and how slopes and excavations remain stable. At Babel Engineering, our civil engineers apply geotechnical principles to industrial, infrastructure, and building projects, so that every design starts from a clear understanding of the ground it will stand on.

Our experience includes geological drilling for a number of industrial projects, where heavy equipment, silos, and production lines place demanding loads on the foundations.
